Hi there, usually supplements don't have a great success rate and they can often impact your kidney or your heart. Where did you hear about this? I hadn't heard it but I think it might be possible. Let me know, okay?

Bromelain is a substance derived from the stems of pineapples.

The recommended dosage of Bromelain tablets or capsules is 80 to 320 mg two to three times a day. Unless it is being used as a digestive aid, it should be taken on an empty stomach.

Disadvantages of Using Bromelain:

Bromelain should not be used for more than two weeks. Though not common, side effects can include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you are allergic to pineapples then please dont use it.

Bromelain can react with certain medications, including antibiotics and blood thinners.

Bromelain can also cause bleeding, so people taking blood-thinning medications cannot use it without risk of hemorrhaging.

All these groups should avoid using bromelian including pregnant women and childrens.
