Ur urge to drink could but it couldn't be from depression. And ALL moms are like that. Suicide is NOT the answer. Life is just beginning for you, it gets so much harder, and I'm sure your strong enough to over come your problems...just say ***edited by moderator*** ** inappropriate posting** it....

Suicide certainly is not the answer. And I would stop all alcohol and marijuana use as these are depressants and will just exacerbate the situation you are in. You didn't mention how old you were, but it seems like the majority of your problems revolve around your mother and family. Have you tried getting a job so that you are out of the house more, making your own money, and in turn become more independent and do things when you want to, how you want to.

At any rate, try getting out of the house more so that there are fewer opportunities to deal with problems brought about by your family, as long as you fill this time with positive things such as exercise and helping around the community or hanging out with good friends. I would also try to have a "family meeting" and sit down with them and let them know how you are feeling right now, and see what changes can be made.

I would also suggest seeing a counselor as it doesn't seem like you have the strongest support group at home to talk to, so discussing these things with someone could be beneficial. If you see your doctor you could possibly get prescribed an anti-depressant such as Zoloft to help with the depression/anxiety.

Hope this was helpful.
