I can only share my experience, it was WAY worse than having a baby, not being in the surgery as you are out of course, but I had a full tummy tuck and the doc had to pull it super tight, I couldn't stand up straight for 3 wks! I don't believe that's common, but bad for me. It's been almost 2 yrs and I still have some numbness, Im very concerned because without blood flow, health issues can greatly ensue. I would suggest getting a cupping unit, you tube it, I pad $8, you do it yourself as I could not roll the scar as the doc suggested, because of the numbing it felt like very painful pinching, the cupping is easy and doesn't hurt. Looks, yep, looks MUCH better, but lots of problems having bms, I'm taking probiotics, digestive enzymes and started coffee enemas, drinking lots of water and super foods by Purium. This affected my health much more than I thought it would. I'm just thankful I've found ways to get my body working like it should. Was it worth it? That question still remains...
