And you are right. And this is even more manifested in the Third world countries where the teeth health education is at the very low level and where people do no think much about the dental care. And of course, when there is no dental care, people loose teeth quickly and without proper education, do not care much of replacing them. The sad thing is, edentulism there might start in a fairly early age, thirties for example.
