Hello, I need some advice. My father is 55 years old but he has already lost all of his teeth. The problem is, he did take care of them, but they were simply bad. Well, artificial teeth are the only option for him now, but I would like to know how edentulism can be prevented effectively? I fear that I have inherited bad teeth quality from my father.

Well, there is much you can do, but it is all related to maintaining oral hygiene. Washing, flossing, using anti bacterial mouth products etc, these are all standard methods, but if applied correctly and often, they really decrease the risk of caries emerging. Still, it is not 100% safe; there is still chance of getting affected.
