I suggest that you give the privilege to edit your own posts to every group, because it's annoying to double-post just to add something or correct a spelling error

I would like this to be implemented as well. It is a bit of a hassle to explain to users of an update if the first post cannot be updated.

that is indeed a very good point, although I do not think that there are many, who would edit their post like that.

If there was any way to enable editing but not deleting your posts, then it would be good.
Or even just giving a certain amount of time before members are able to edit there own post, say 24 hours
