I missed my last period, it has been 9 weeks since the start of my last cycle. I am irregular but have not missed a period since the I was 14 (current age 28).

Symptoms:

My last period was 12/14-12/20/12 and I had unprotected sex on 12/27/12. I expected my period on January 20th, I did not have any period but a really bad stomach ached that lasted for 2 days. Sharp pain that seem to come in waves. After that I suffered from diarrhea for about a week. (TMI Sorry!)

I have had a lot of clear odorless discharge for the past few weeks.

I am extremely tired ALL the time (I work 2 jobs now, so that has a huge role in my fatigue).

I have gained a lot of weight in the last year and the most in the last few months due to poor diet and a sedentary lifestyle.

I have done so much research online and I keep coming to these post sites where a woman has the same exact symptoms and never posts what the result was. I am curious if this is common?

I will not be able to go see my doctor till next week. I have post-poned an appointment becuase I was waiting to see if my period would start the week of 2/14/13... and nothing happened. The suspense is killing me. As I said earlier I am irregular and have skipped a month before. I would love it if I was pregnant. I have taken 8 tests so far, the last one I took was on 2/16/13.... all negative.

I have read that weight gain can cause a skipped period, but the other sypmtoms are misleading.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you ladies!! :)

When you go to the doctor have them do a blood pregnancy test because the results are more accurate than the home pregnancy test. You ovulate around two weeks after the first day of your menstrual cycle. So if your period started on Dec 14 and you had unprotected sex on Dec 27 you were in the time frame of ovulation. Also sperm can last inside of you up to three days on average before dying so you could ovulate days later and still conceive. Since you missed your period in Jan and now have missed your Feb period you need to talk to your doctor about this. Gaining weight, stress, etc can cause your period to miss and even cause your symptoms.

Good Luck and I hope you are Pregnant :-)

Went to the Dr and she ordered several blood tests to check for thyroid problems, pregnancy and check estrogen and testosterone levels... she will also know from the results if I haves PCOS...
the symptoms are similar... but I am not having any pain.
A hormone imbalance would explain alot of the symptoms.... I will keep this thread updated :)
