Electric Shock Pain in Stomach

I was playing basket ball and doing a lay up. When i jumped I got a painful electric shock feeling in my stomach, just to the right and a bit above my belly button. It felt like one of those electric shock pens that zap your finger, but only in my stomach. Afterwards, for about 5 seconds it felt like someone was pushing a bit of wire against the spot, and then it went fairly quickly. I thought nothing of it, but then 3 or 4 days later i got the pain again in the same spot, whilst playing field hockey. Is this anything to think about? Could it be a pain from sport overuse causing stress to my abdominals? Thanks

Additional Details: I am 15 - but currently going through purberty.

did you ever get a response to this? did you see the doctor? i've had something similar but it's not sports-induced. it happened in the middle of the night last night!

I have had the same thing down both sides of my ab's, I read a little bit and what I am hearing is that it is
round ligament pain from your ligaments pulling and stretching, but it does feel like a shock wave! I called
my doctor and she is out of the office so I am waiting to talk to her about it.

I would see a doctor I had samthing and found out that it hernia. The shock waves is caysed by your intestines

I also get these shock Wave pains upper and lower abdominal. I also have nouropathy I wonder if that may be the cause. Anyone have this problem or know what it is?

I got the same problem, i checked all the way, I am healthy and eating very healthy food, it is happening only specific time and place other time I am perfectly all right , so I am suspecting some one is hurting me by using shock wave machine.. because my past work place manager is hurting me .. I got shock pain in my stomach, as well as some times in kidney, if I came to know all about the shock wave machine then I will go to police .. is there anyone to answer me .

well - its strange . not long ago I started using that machine Zen Chi and I start experiencing strange electric zapping sensation around my stomach area top and bally b., aera and I thinks it could be because too much sitting not far from electric field like computer and so on - its should be like 5 m from it , or use but not for so long , and the other thing I think it could be some inflammation and when you doing some activities its make some type of cell charging and come with this sensation , but did you drink coca cola ?

I been havin th shocks fr 7years now n it getting worse I gt a op this month plus I'm on morphin solution n patches but nothink working it kills to work n stand n lie down plus I'm diabetic type 1 aswell xx

My son was having the electric shocks in his chest, stomach, and arms for months. They were random and out of the blue. He brought it up to me but I could not figure out the cause. I told him it was probably nothing. He is 10 years old. One Sunday, he started to vomit. The next day was the cramps around belly button area and lower right abdominal pain. It did not get better. I brought him to the hospital. Initially, it was an acute appendicitis. Then it ruptured. He was in the hospital for over two weeks due to complications. He is still recovering. My point is to every parent that do not ignore the signs and comments from your kids. Do not brush it off as nothing just because those are not common symptoms of health issues. Please go for a check up. It is better to be safe then sorry. What one doctor may not see could be a different finding from another specialist.

Ditto. I feel as though I have a thermonuclear device in my stomach too. I understand microwave weaponry is being used on the unsuspecting general public by the military industrial complex.
