I urinate very often and it burns like heel. I have heard that this condition can permanently destroy my testicles. I am terrified! I am only 32 years old, please help me.

Epididymitis is usually a secondary bacterial infection that is triggered by a range of conditions, such as urinary tract infections. The bacteria in the urethra simply back track through the urinary and reproductive structures to the epididymis. The epididymis is a series of small tubes attached to the back of each testicle. Possible complications when epididmytis is untreated include damage or even destroy the epididymis and testicle. This can lead to infertility, but some men can develop chronic epididymitis, which is characterized by inflammation even when there is no infection. Treatment includes antibiotics and rest.
