Can you tell me your experiences with prescriptions weight loss drugs? I have been trying to lose weight for almost year and a half, but had no effect at all. I also tried to exercise, but stopped soon, because I hate sweating and tiring. Now I am even considering taking some antidepressants whose side effect is weight loss. Is it smart thing to do? Actually, I know it is not, but still, I cannot deal with extra pounds anymore.

You said that you already know it is a bad idea, so why do it? Anyway, side effect is called side effect because it is not a thing that medication is supposed to do, only a side effect, right? Also, side effects might happen but not necessarily. So you might end up with the same weight and messed up brain, which is not something you would like. And I will add that many of those depressant medications have weight gain as a side effect and I assume you would not like that either, right?
