My xray result shows minimal fibrohazed densities in the left upper lung probably Koch's in Etiology of undetermined activity. What does it mean. Thanks in advance!

Hi Pat,

Fibrohazed - think fibers.  Densities - think thicker than normal tissue.

Neither should be there.

Your doctors should be continuing to evaluate you for either a current or past history of Koch's (tuberculosis).

Other tests may be required such as a sputum analysis or biopsy.

My x-ray result shows that I have fibrohazed infiltrates on lung apices due to KOCH's infection. Does it mean I'm not fit to work?

Hi, Zen.

This means that there are areas of increased density in the upper part of the lungs, which could indicate the presence of a condition such as pneumonia or asthma.

The "fibrohazy densities" may be due to inflammation, while the "avoid densities" may be due to fluid or other substances. It is important to discuss this finding with your friend's doctor for further evaluation and diagnosis.

Good luck and let us know what the doctor said.
