FINGER TIP FEELS CUT AN ITS NOT

I had this experience last night I found myself babying my finger as if it had been cut than remember it hadnt,

I have been experiencing a sensation similiar to being cut by a razorblade several times on the tips of my thumbs. I can get it to subside only after dipping them in wax and letting it dry followed by breaking it loose along the edges and working toward the center of the dried wax. Sometimes it takes multiple rounds with a little more relief each time. Today after the fifth time i started to be able to see little white bumps in the area which coinsided with where i could still feel pain from. I've come to the conclusion that I must be picking up tiny shards of fiberglass from some yet to be discovered source. I recently also have had something strange occur on the roof of my mouth right behind my top two front teeth. I first thought I must have burnt myself eating something though I could not remember doing so. After a week of only feeling the pain sometimes I used my fingernail to figure out the pain was mainly occuring when pressure was applied coming from the front of my mouth toward the back. I then proceeded to scrape in the opposite direction. Intially I would wait for my saliva to dry so i could have the opportunity to see if there was anything was left over. I didn't want to end up just making the situation worse. Sure enough I was able to see little sparkles left over. The pain subsided after a 2 hour process. It mainly took so long because i wanted to validate that I was actually seeing something left over after my saliva had dried. I'm still in disbelief and puzzled as to where I can be getting the fibergass from. Especially to end up lodged in the roof of my mouth. I'm hopeful to find the source soon. Fiberglass is the only thing i have ever experienced that has givin me the same sensation. Though it has never been on such a scale as I have recently been experiencing.
