fordyce spots infection?

No its is not infectious i just learned that like 5 mins ago and i've been like freaking out about it cause i have it and well now i'm relieved they've been on my bottom part of penis and balls and well to know that the spots are from having your balls damaged during life. So it's non contagious.

disregard what "Guest" said. The fordyce spots can be infected. The Spots can swell up and turn red, hence infected. the fordyce spots them selves are not infectious. they are not an std nor can be transmitted person to person via sexual or physical contact. they have genetical traces. so best bet is that one of your parents has them. so you can talk to them about it because they will know more about it than yourself.

Well as I could find out about this they are non infectious. They do not have any connection with STD (like genital wraths) or cancer. Often they are just cosmetic concern only and have no real threat of getting any kind of disease or illness.
