Wow, to be honest before looking this up for the first time i truly believed that no one else is suffering from the same c**p i have to. its good to know im not alone but at the same time its horrible to see so many other women that the doctors just wont listen to as well. I am just shy of 20 years old and ive been bleeding continuously for 3 years now. what happened was at 16 i got pregnant and the guy i was with was the typical male as****e. he said "its the baby or its me" and me being the id**t i was, i chose him thinking i couldnt mke it on my own without him. and as much as i was against it, i ended up getting an abortion. after that time was when i started noticing that i would bleed for months and months at a time. since that day i have done nothing but kick myself cuz now this is happening to me and i fear im never gonna be a mom. i dont plan on having kids for a few more years but the fact thatthis has been going on for so long is what worries me. since I have seen so many doctors that my head is spinning cuz they all tell me the same thing... NOTHING. no explanations, no diagnosis, no treatments besides just prescribing me birth control over and over again. FYI.. i tell them straight up "cant you see this isnt working at all, nothing you are doing is working". all they told me was that i should just keep up with what they prescribe. funny thing.. after i actually STOPPED TAKING THE BIRTH CONTROL IT STOPPED. my period was at first a little weird again. but after 3 months of not taking birth control im acvtually back to.. somewhat.. of a normal period. now im having pregnancy symptoms which doesnt make sense to me. my husband and i have always had unprotected sex and he does finish inside of me. i havent bled for 2 weeks now and i have been nauseas everyday since then. headaches, some weight gain, and pressure on what feels like my ovaries or lower stomach. but for the past couple years we have been having unprotected sex on the few days during the month that i wouldnt be bleeding. i would bleed everytime we had sex, usually the next morning. even on birth control i would be bleeding 9 months at a time and then stop for 3days to 2weeks and then start right back up again. all the birth control did to me was make me fatfatfat. (50 pounds heavier to be exact). me being as self consious about whats going on with my body enough as it is, i stopped taking my birth control. its been since around october or november since i stopped taking them and after a little bit more suffering, around december or january i bleed A LOT less. i still have my period heavy, lots of clotting, and excruciating cramps but i bleed up to only 2 weeks and then i dont for a month. but now that i somewhat battled with the constant bleeding what the helk is wrong with me now? i took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. someone please help before i lose my mind.

to add i had my period starting at feb. 3 up until march 8 and the day after it stopped and up until that point i have had constant nausea.
