My friend had a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery. I know that it’s serious operation and I’m so worried. I’m afraid that he can have some complications. I heard that it’s possible that grafts can occlude after surgery. Can somebody explain to me, please, what’s happening when grafts occluded following CABG?

You have right, grafts may occlude in the months to years after bypass surgery is performed. But you need to stay positive and hope that everything will be ok. If grafts occlude, patients need to have second CABG. That isn’t something so unusual and many people had great recovery after their second CABG.
