I am not a medical doctor, but if in fact your menses "were supposed to come on 14th Feb" then 13th Feb would not have been a fertile day. However, you have not said how you calculated that 14 Feb was the expected start date. What were the start dates of your previous 6 periods?

Having taken the ipill within 24 hours, it is likely that it would have been effective (if it were needed). But your period/bleeding did come on 20 Feb. That might have been the real due date or the impact of taking the ipill. Nevertheless, it is highly unlikely you would be pregnant (was this your first-time sex?)

As you have taken the ipill, future periods are likely to come at an unexpected time - either later or earlier than expected.

You have not given any actual dates or period data. However, if your cycle length is at least 28 days, and your period lasts the standard 5 days, then 2 days after your period ended would not likely have been a fertile day.
Having taken the ipill, your period may get delayed or come early. If it were to be delayed, you could take a home test. Provided that you have not had sex since this event you describe, then a test taken more than 3 weeks after that occasion should be reliable.

She would not likely be pregnant on 5 March from sex on 1 March. That process generally takes longer. However, having taken the ipill, she is not likely to get pregnant. You haven't given any dates regarding the start of her last few periods, the date the next one was (or is) expected, or her cycle length. The ipill might delay her period or make it come earlier than expected. The likelihood is that she will not be pregnant from the little information you have given. It would help if you answered a few questions.

  1. What dates did her last 6 periods start?
  2. What is her normal cycle length (typically 28 days)?
  3. What date was her next period due (before she took the ipill)?
  4. What other dates have you had sex since her last period?

Hi there

Me and my fiance have been in intercourse after one week of her withdrawl bleeding, she took ipill before bleeding.

Is there any chances of getting pragnent again? And till how many days pill will effect?

Yes, there is a chance of pregnancy. The ipill is not a general contraceptive pill. It is only for emergency use, and has to be taken soon after sex (preferably within 24 hours, but certainly within 72 hours); not before!

Whether she had been fertile (or not) one week after withdrawal bleeding will depend on the impact of the EC on her cycle, which may be dependent on when in her cycle she took the EC. Generally, with a typical 28-day cycle and a 5-day period, a week after the period ended would be a very fertile time.

Probably not, but you need to explain exactly what you mean. "I didn't get periods it's 8 days now" might mean "it's 8 days since intercourse" or "it's 8 days since periods were due".

  1. What date did you have intercourse?
  2. Did you take i-pill within 24 hours?
  3. What date were your periods due to start?
  4. How did you calculate that?
  5. What were the start dates of your last 6 periods?
  6. What is your usual cycle length?

The i-pill can affect future periods.

You have not said anything about your menstrual cycle and fertile times (cycle length, last period start date, the next period start date, etc), but if you took the i-pill within 24 hours of sex, then it should be effective; the subsequent bleeding indicates that it was. However, having taken the i-pill, subsequent periods may be late (or early), and a period may even be missed. That is one of the side effects of the i-pill. There is nothing you can do about it except wait for your reproductive system to settle down again. Was 9th Jan the only day you had sex?

It would have been helpful to have given exact dates and your cycle length.

  1. If your cycle is 28-days (from period start to period start) then Cycle Day 13 was likely a very fertile day.
  2. Pre-cum can contain sperm; full ejaculation is not always necessary for pregnancy.
  3. Ejaculation inside the vagina is not always necessary. Ejaculation near the vagina might be enough for sperm to swim in.
  4. Pregnancy can happen from first-time sex.
  5. Whether (or not) your hymen is ruptured makes no difference to the likelihood of pregnancy following. However, you are no longer a virgin as you have had sexual intercourse.
  6. I-pill is very effective if taken in time (95%), but most effective when taken within 24 hours.
  7. Doctors recommend that i-pill is only safe for women between 25 and 45.

From what you have said, the chances of you getting pregnant seem low.
