i have a problem with ingrown hairs on my penis. i discovered a lump on the underside of my penis almost two months ago. i let it go assuming it was a ingrown hair. then it started to grow and is now about the size of a pea, hard, easily movable, round and when squeezed i can sometimes get out a white or clear fluid. it is non painful, unless squeezed. i went to the clinc and got tested. i came up clean and the doctor who examined my lump said it did not appear to be an std. i called a doctor and tried to schedule and appointment. he directed me to the nurse who told me that it is a cyst and to apply a warm cloth or heat press to it. she said it may go away in a bit, if it doesnt to contact them.
my concern is that it has not been officially diagonsed by a doctor. are they correct about the cyst or just telling me what i want to hear? i assumed it is an epidermal cyst. also i was wondering can they be passed on to partners during sex?

Hey man. Well, this just isn't fair. The doctors as well as the nurses are obliged to pay full attention to the issue you are currently having. The most important thing about your lump on penis is that it isn't a sexually transmitted disease. You should make a private appointment if you are worried that much because that's the best way to find out what's bothering you. I personally think that the nurse is right with her diagnosis and that it is probably a sort of cyst that needs to be treated properly in order to disappear. So, make that appointment and it's gonna be okay.
