Hello,

I had my left kidney removed in June 2015, this was because doctors had failed to pick up the symptoms for eighteen years and until i moved doctors and went on my own they then saw the issues. Due to the poor treatment at my previous doctors my left kidney had been left with only 5% usuage and had to be removed due to occurrence of infections (everytime i felt ill, i had to go to A&E and have every type of needle injected into me by the doctors!)

Now two years on, the pain has returned and i have been told i need a further three operations the doctor never provided a name for this but has advised the pipe where my kidney was attached to needs to have a camera put into it, injected with anti-biotics and hopefully numbed for three months, if this fails to work they'll do the same but inject general anesthetic. This has only ever been performed on someone that has two kidneys and i have one now. If this fails, they'll remove the pipe all together, i dont udnerstand why they cant take away the pipe to save going under so many ops?

Does anyone know much more or had a previous experience?

Thank you
