I recently had Vulvar Cancer Surgery and developed hemoroids! I noticed because I developed them externally, and bleed. I immediatly called the doctor and he gave me Anusol supositories! They where painful! and he also gave me Anusol cream.. I put it on externally, this has been 3 weeks and I still have them. It is very painful everytime I have a bowl movement. I have started consuming a lot of fiber but nothing has changed! What can I do next? I will try anything? HELP?!

Have you tried hot baths to relieve the symptoms? It is done by filling your tub with warm water and sitting in it for about 15-20 minutes after every bowel movement and maybe even 2-3 times a day. These baths provide heat to the area, which helps in relief the pain and in healing.
You should wash you anus with water every time after bowel movement, drink a lot of fluids and you could even try taking fiber supplements like Metamucil.
I suppose your doc suggested you wait a little bit and see if the body will take care of the hemorrhoids on its own. How long has it been since your surgery? I don’t know if you are ready for hemorrhoids removal and I don’t know if it has anything to do with this kind of surgery but I do know about hemorrhoids.
Have you talked to your doc about having them removed?
