Hey everyone this my introductory post. I am a 25 year old female from Las Vegas and I have Panic Disorder as well as a very minor case of Agoraphobia. Ive had panic and anxiety off and on for the last 5 years. The last few months have been the worse though. I am on my way to recovery mainly with self-help books and some counseling. Also changed my diet to cut out as much sugar, caffeine, sodium and fatty foods as possible. Since I have started with these things, I have been feeling much better and the attacks are coming less frequently and less intense. I also have built a good support group of friends and family. Having people I trust has helped me alot..
My only problem that I cant really get straight is my appetite. Most of the time I dont feel hungry and I get a lil anxious when I think of food or eating. Dispite my feeling of anxiety I still eat. Sometimes the only way i can swallow my food without gagging on it is to drink water as I swallow the food. I was also doing more research on vitamins that help so I am going to start taking B complex and vitamin C as well as calcium and magnesium. Maybe this will keep me on track since I have trouble with eating.
I know this is alot of rambling for an Intro post, sorry for that. hehe ^_^
