hi my daughter is 15 and as devloped a hole just in the crease above her bum does anyone know wat it is and and she came to get it and can it be cured i av made an appointment with my doctor but was woundering wat it is .xxx

Took my daughter to the doctor now know wat it is pilonidal cyst due to an ingrowing hair she as been put on a course of antibitics got to go bk in 2 weeks to see if it as healed .The doctor said it could heal and or it could re open and if it does keep reacurring then she might av to have surgery to sort it out . who would of thought an ingrowing hair could cause this hole .
