Hi, there are many different hormon supplementation theraoies. For example, gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogue (GnRH-a) therapy is done with Zoladex(goserelin), Lupron, Lupron depot (leuprolide) and Synarel (nafarelin). Leuprolide is easy to administrate, as it is injected into a muscle once a month. Nafarelin is sprayed into the nose two times a day. Goserelin is injected under the skin every 8 day. This therapy is approved for endometriosis and uterine fibroids. GnRH-a therapy is administrated for only 3 to 6 months, in order to avoid any long-term effects.
