Hi James,

You ignore them and if they persist you report them to their supervisor - usually a board of medicine or similar.

NO professional will "smirk" at whatever they may see.

It is hard to ignore my female doctor who gave me my DOT physical. I needed to see her to keep my license. I reported her to my regular doctor and she said I should ignore her smerk. She said she would assign me a different doctor next time.

I'd still go above her. She is licensed to practice medicine somewhere. Find out where and report her.

I gave up my CDL last year because I figured I wouldn't drive a truck again at my age but for some strange reason they chose a chiropractor for the official approved DOT physical examiner. I used to get it from my regular doctor until last year. Was the "doctor" they sent you to even a real doctor?

No. She was a Physicians Assisant. She was fine until she said she needed to check my genitals. She made a comment on how small my penis is and I said that it is what it is. She continued anyway, and all the rest of her exam went fine.
