I have been diagnosed with duodenal ulcers and I am only 39 years old. I wish now I did not strain my stomach that much, with alcohol and cigarettes too, sometimes even with the excessive eating. Anyway, how long does a duodenal therapy last? I just want to know if that can be over in couple of months.

Well it lasts a lot shorter than that. But that is only the medication therapy. After that you will have to maintain a healthy way of living in order to avoid the same problems coming back again. This means that you will have to eat regularly, lesser meals, no smoking, and no alcohol. And sometimes, unfortunately, that is not a strong guarantee that the condition will not emerge again.
