Have you consulted with endocrinologist at any point? Because endocrinologist is the doctor who specialized in conditions that affect glands and hormones. That's more or less what I thought you might be experiencing because the most important thing with taking hormonal supplements is finding and adjusting the right dosage. So I know it's very likely that the dose you are on now is not right, but neurologist really isn't the specialist you need for this, you need an endocrinologist.
