I am 16 y/o and I'm pretty sure I've only recently hit puberty. I have pubic hair around the base of my penis and on my scrotum, and I've just started to notice it on my legs too. However, I haven't got a single hair under my armpits or any sort of beard/moustache thing going on. I'm 5'7", but I'm really skinny. I weigh about 7 stone 12 pounds, but my arms and legs are like twigs and my rib cage is clearly visible. The thing is, though, I eat a lot of food, although not a whole lot of healthy stuff. I do, however, eat a lot of proteins and carbohydrates, but I never ever gain any kind of weight even after eating a whole lot of food over a week. I do quite a lot of exercise too, every single day (but I don't go to a gym or anything, so I don't do weight lifting or any of that kind of stuff). I'm one of the shortest people out of my friends and I'm extremely self-conscious about my appearance. I'm pretty sure I'm currently experiencing a growth spurt, too. Due to this, I have a few questions I would like to ask: 1. How long into puberty does it take for hair to grow under my armpits or on my face? 2. How can I gain weight outside of eating food? 3. What changes can I make to my diet to gain more weight and have a healthier body? (I eat a lot of protein and carbs, and have begun to take in a lot more calcium for my bones. I don't eat a lot of fruit/veg) 4. How long is the average growth spurt for boys, and how much can I grow in that time? 5. Is there a way to make myself taller faster? I know a lot of these questions are going to be very obvious to answer, but I just need to know so I can start changing my life for the better. Thank you for anyone who responds.
