Hi! i just want to know the reason why i didn't bleed during my first sexual intercourse but it really hurt much. i really felt the pain but the problem was, it didn't bleed. This caused my bf to doubt if I'm really a virgin. but i know very well that i am because i never had sex with anyone before. what are the possible reasons for this? Thanks.

There is no hard and fast rule that says a women must bleed after a first time intercourse. You may have ruptured your hymen thru some other means at one point. Excercising, bicycle riding, tumbling, a fall, riding a horse, any thing is possible.
Many men don't get it. They have to see blood in order to really know that their women was a virgin for him, this is nonsense.
A female can be born with a very thin hymen or some are born with a thick and elastic one, some are born with no hymen at all.
He may have ruptured the hymen as you felt some pain, but you didn't necessarily HAVE to bleed.

Your word should be enough for him. You have told him that you never had intercourse before, that should be it, period.

the above response is pretty much perfect, i'll also quote one of my posts from the sticky at the top of this forum.

but wat if onli the begining of the penis entered (the head) to the vagina does that mean ur not a virgin???????

yes it means you are not a virgin. you had a penis in your vagina, this is sexual intercourse, the act that takes your virginity.

Yes, bleeding means lost of virginity.. Also if only the beginning comes in it's considered as loosing of virginity..

bleeding has nothing whatsoever to do with virginity. my girlfriend didn't bleed when we both had sex for the first time, though we were both virgins.

i find it utterly amazing that people who have access to the internet can be so misinformed and have so many misconceptions about sexuality and virginity.

virgin: one who has not had sexual intercourse, the more traditional meaning is one that has not had vaginal intercourse, whether as a man or woman. quite simply if you put your penis in a vagina you're not a virgin. if you have a penis in your vagina you're not a virgin, even if it "was only a little bit".

however these days i think it's fair to expand the definition to involve other sexual activities. if you have anal sex you are not a virgin in my humble opinion. oral sex on the other hand is not "real" sex but that's open for debate.

the hymen has virtually nothing to do with actual virginity. it's just a thin membrane that covers the vagina. it is entirely absent in some women, diminished in others and in some cases completely closes the vagina. breaking the hymen does not mean you lost your virginity unless it was in the act of penetrative sex. "virginity" is a concept more than a physical state. it just describes someone who hasn't had sex yet. there is no exam that can be taken to prove a woman is a virgin except if she has a completely closed hymen (which can't be the case with a woman who menstruates as a completely closed hymen must be surgically opened to allow passage of menstrual blood and debris). it is possible for a woman to have an intact hymen even after penetrative sex.

people need to stop associating the hymen with virginity, it's not true and it's an unhealthy idea to pass on to others. imagine the distress of a girl who is born without a hymen or ruptures it through one of the previously mentioned activities when they read this sort of fallacy on the net and think they're not a virgin.

I have had sex with four virgins and none of them bleed, this does not mean that they are not virgins. I have a six inch penis and to be honest that’s average. When I asked that first girl she told me that there was blood on her knickers when she went home. When we were having sex I heard a popping sound when I pushed my penis further in her. Her reaction to the whole experience made me realise that she was a virgin. She never took part in any other activities such as horse riding. When I slept with the second girl who was also a virgin didn’t bleed but I did hear a popping noise but she was a virgin because I have known her all my life and she hasn’t had a boyfriend ever. She would use sexual toys has her first experience. The third one didn’t bleed but it was really tough getting in there she was so tight. I have slept with 20 girls over 13 years of my life I am 30 year old grown up man with wisdom so please don’t be retarded and comment sh*t on this page as I am aware that we have several foreign idiots in the UK who think that they are funny. All girls don’t bleed that facts do your research before making assumptions.

I'll be blunt, (not rude, just i may offend you)... My first love & i were together from the age of 13(me) & her 12 until wwe were 20 & 21. When she was 14 we had intercourse for the first time, althought she was extremely tight, she never bled at all & i did doubt it throughout are whole relationship. Here's my reasons, when we were together we broke up for a little &during this time she treated me so damn weirdly, &my friend told me she asked him to give him head.. &someone had told me she lost her virginity to this albanian guy, then years later when we were walking we ran into an old friend from when were 12-13 &he says hi to me & says her name with a lot of expression (?!?!!) &she stayed silent & turned towards me & grabbed my arm, it was so awkward, then he just said"oh, ok".. I remembered later that he's albanian. I'm no ace though, during the breakup i lost my virginty with a different girl &she did bleed, a lott... then when we got back together &had sex i couldn't believe she was a virgin because of that experience. Although may be you masterbated during your period or right @ the beggining @ mistook it for that since you didn't have sex, it just left your mind without worry. Till this day when we spoke (now 25 her 24) she says i was her first, but yeah.. All the lies (proven) that i've wittnessed her create & be part of it's just to hard for me to ever believe or trust her even. I was young too, but never created sociopathic lie &stuff.... So he should believe you if your past isn't riddled with things to suggest otherwise. Or if he's not telling you seomthing.
