Hello, I am 56 years old and I am dealing with gout for almost three years now. First changes occurred on the left foot and now it affected other joints. I have strong swelling, stiffness and pain; sometimes I cannot even move my legs. I used several medications and last time I went to a doctor was prescribed with allopurinol and colchicine.

Colchicine removes pain and inflammation in gout arthritis very fast, but in the same process it cannot deal with the substances accumulated in the joints (that are causing the problems in the first place). Aluprinol has that effect - it reduces the overall level of those substances. So, these two meds combined should help you deal with this serious metabolic disorder.
