I had a laminectomy/discectomy on c-6/ c-7 in Aug. 2010. The surgery went well, although the pain and recovery time was more than I expected compared to a back surgery done in 2005. I got a staff infection in the incision area on my neck (posterior) a few days after I got home after spending three days in the hospital. This caused significant pain, in fact it was almost imposible to sit up more than 45'. Recently I have had alot of twitching in my left bisept & arm/shoulder, and some pain in my neck which has recently been swelling with some redness. Is the twitching normal ? What is the most likelly result of it ? What is the most likelly reason for the swelling this long after surgery ? (almost 6 months) I realize without being seen your answers are an educated guess based on the symptoms i've described, but I also don't know if I should go see my attending physician or the surgeon regarding this. This is a work-related injury and is covered by L & I. Thank-you for considering this. Jeremy
