I took Cerazette (progesterone only contraceptive pill for a six week period). I took a two day break during the cycle because I didnt realise you should take the pill continuously and had to take a morning after pill. That was on 22/12. I began to experience mood swings and became very emotional and then paranoid that the MAp hadnt worked and that I was pregnant. I stopped taking the Cerazette two weeks ago to try and figure out what was happening with my body and 1) i still havent had any period and 2) my breasts are still extremely swollen and tender (like being pregnant). I have done 3 tests - all negative and I dont think I am pregnant. Im just very sore and confused. Can anyone help. Thank you.

I stopped taking cerazette about 4 weeks ago. Whilst I was on it I had no negative side affects, but since coming off I have found that my breasts are really sore, I am getting intermittent cramping, a sore back, nausea and am absolutely wiped out. I have done pregnancy tests and they are negative. Having spent a lot of time looking on the internet, it seems that a few women do experience pregnancy like symptoms when they come off cerazette and I guess it is just a waiting game until you rbody returns to its regular cycle.
