I started my birth control, Apri, on Sunday, March 10th. I had unprotected sex this past Saturday, the 16th. That would mean I had taken 6 birth control pills by then. I started my period Tuesday, March 5th, and it lasted until the 11th. I Started my birth control the day before my period ended. I know the birth control instructions said to wait a week, but it wasn't planned that he ejaculated inside of me. Is it a possibility that I could be pregnant? I hope not...PLEASE help me. I really am worried. SOMEONE please help me.

You need to take a pregnancy test. I would question the effectiveness of your birth control being that you just started it. I doubt that you're pregnant because you just had your period, but anything is possible. Just take the test to ease your mind.

Most modern birth control pills leave you protected after you have a full weeks worth of pills in your system. However, seeing as you just started taking it, your body might not be adjusted to it. Usually doctors recommend using extra protection upon starting a birth control or even switching brands just to be safe. Unfortunately, seeing as this happened only a few days ago, you won't know for another 3 weeks whether or not you're pregnant. I personally don't think you're at risk as long as you've been taking your birth control as directed. I've been in this situation a few times.
In the mean time, just try not to worry because there really isn't anything you can do about it until you can take a test. Stressing can delay your next period and then you'll be stressing even more. If you're still worried in a few weeks, take a pregnancy test to ease your mind. Some of them you can take up to 5 days before your period so if it's wearing on your mind that much, go to the dollar store and buy one to take! It always helps to call your doctor and see if they would recommend Plan B or Next Choice emergency contraceptive, too. They're a little pricy but if you go on the Plan B website, you can print out a coupon for $5 off. Since this just happened on Saturday, you're still well within the 5 day "window" for protection.
Be warned, though, that Plan B can delay your period or make it come early. When I took it, mine came a day late and was a little lighter than usual - and I took it because I missed too many pills to be protected enough in the first week of my pill pack. Also, it made all of my typical PMS symptoms even more miserable. But it's better than nothing!

I don't think I'm pregnant because I'm having cramps like I'm going to start my period. My breasts always get tender and they're hurting right now, and there's no way I could ALREADY have pregnancy symptoms right now, right? That's a good sign. I haven't had any implantation bleeding or anything, so what do you think? There's no way I can get Plan B. I have been taking my pills regularly and took the 7th pill that night, so I shouldn't be pregnant because I didn't ovulate because the birth control prevents that... So, I should be in the clear, right?

The period was BEFORE I had sex. I was just stating when my period was so anyone could tell me anything they know about ovulating, but that doesn't happen until two weeks after your period, and the sexual intercourse was not even a week after my period. Also, the birth control is supposed to keep you from ovulating. If you're not ovulating, you can't get pregnant, right? Or, at least, there's a lower chance. So, I should be fine right?

Birth control does indeed work to prevent ovulation as well as thicken cervical mucus so that it makes it harder for sperm to reach the egg if one did get released. Most pregnancy symptoms vary woman to woman and A LOT of pregnancy symptoms are the same as symptoms of your period. If you worry too much about it, you'll seriously start "thinking" yourself into having them. I've definitely had that happen before. I'm assuming you've been taking your birth control regularly and correctly so I will assume the birth control didn't allow you to ovulate and that you're in the clear. Just watch for your next period and if you're still unsure, just take a test. That's really the only sure way to find out. I will say that I've had "oopsies" a few times during my ovulation period and despite missed pills, I've never become pregnant. :) I think you'll be okay.

That makes me a little better. :) Thank you. I'll let you know. I have to finish this week of birth control, go through next week, and then I'm on the sugar pills. I think that I'll be fine...hoping my period will come. I don't think I've had any implantation symptoms, so that's good. My breasts are tender but that's because they're growing due to the birth control. I think I'm fine...or, at least, I hope so.
