Hey – I’ve been on here a couple of times before and found loads of questions about insulins and stuff so I thought I’d write a note to say how much better I’ve been since I started using victoza. Loads of people struggle with getting everything right and I’d had different insulins before that just didn’t work for me. Since I started on this I’ve not had one hypo, the pen’s been great and life has been so much easier. Just thought I’d let everyone know that there is life out there even if you need to inject every day!

Hi! You know what – it’s really good to see positive comments on here about using insulin. Most of the time people have worries and concerns or don’t know how to cope with situations to it’s great to see that you’ve found something that works really well for you. And that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? At the end of the day, we’ve all got a condition that needs managing and coping with and we all want a life as well. What you’ve said is really reassuring from several points of view. Firstly that you’ve found something that doesn’t give you hypos – the manufacturers do claim that Victoza is really good for not doing that – but obviously it’s ‘horses for courses’. The other thing is that companies have designed and developed the pens to try and make life easy, but lots of people are scared of them – and you’ve gotta look around for something that works for you. Living with diabetes can be really tough, but if we try and take control and us control the condition rather than the condition control us it is possible to lead a normal life. Made me feel really good – thanks for your post.
