I am a 28 dayish cycler. I started my period in November on the 15th and December on the 13th. I had unprotected sex with my bf on 12/26, 12/27, & 12/29. On 1/1/13 I bled very lightly, started out brownish for about 24 hours. Not enough to use a liner or pad. I wasn't expecting to start my period until 1/10/13. Does this sound like implatation bleedin on 1/1/13? Probably too soon for a pregnancy test. Thoughts?

I I am cautiously optimistic that you have a WINNER! The dates ALL match - I would say that the 26/27th was the one! Implantation bleeding usually happens around 6 - 12 days after ovulation. So IF you haven't started taking prenatal vitamins, start now. Keep an eye on any strange bleeding or increased intolerable pain in your pelvis! Older women have higher chances of Etopic Pregnancy - but remember that isn't the norm by any means! I usually tell women to wait a good 21 days so they have a incorrect test results. BUT since these are pretty good signs already, lets keep our fingers crossed for ZERO period on the 10th! Please let me know how you make out? Good luck and thankyou for the call out! ;-)

It's WAY too early to tell yet. At best you would be about 13 days after conception. Just wait till your period is missed, save your money on all of the tests, just wait till you have signs! Also start taking prenatal vitamins - and there is no use missing out on opportunities! Have your partner also take prenatal, and just keep having sex - it increases your odds IF this is not pregnancy! Remember a healthy, no problem person can take up to a year to become pregnant. It has to do with the sperm strength, and timing!

Yeah, I was gonna add that other than the 1 day of bleeding, I have no other signs. When that happened, I got on the computer to try and figure out what was wrong with me. The last thing I thought I would find is that I could be pregnant.

EVERY woman is different, and EVERY pregnancy is different. The difference between my 1st and my 2nd was HUGE. 1st I just knew in my heart - and no period, 2nd EVERYTHING hurt and sick as a dog. As i said IF you are pregnant it is VERY early on. Your brain might not have even got the memo yet - yes i ALWAYS use office terms lol - so just hang tight (there is nothing else you can do right now anyway) just take your prenatal vitamins and still keep on having sex - no use missing an opportunity. Also put a pillow under your buttocks and lay like that all night if possible or for at least an hour or so - as htis too helps the sperm reach the "promise land";-) Take a test on Monday - I know that's DAYS away - but by then it should be definitive! Sorry to hear that. Weird bleeding can happen for SO many reasons - thats my nice way of saying "I don't have a clue" ;-) Hopefully this has made you think about either trying or not? IF you decide that you really want a baby right now, both of you start taking prenatal vitamins. This helps with both of your fertility, take it for least a month - before trying! ALWAYS help out mother nature, with raising your buttocks after the deed! The longer the better - just helps those little girls and boys get to the promised land! Please let me know how you make out? Me and my girlfrnd had unprotected sex on the 1st of jan after which she took an emrgency contraceptive pill as i ejaculated inside her. She had her period date on the 5th of jan bt she didnt have her period. Its 11th today and she hasnt had it yet. Could she be pregnant?? Please help as we are worried.

I am 98% sure you are fine - NO pregnancy. The only reason why I'm not 100% sure is that any time you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy. The 2 main reasons why I know you guys are fine 1. She took the emergency pill within the 3 days of possible conception 2. Her period was due on the 5th, so she would NOT be fertile on the 1st. The reason why she is late or it skips will be 1. The concentrated hormones of the morning after pill 2. Stress about being pregnant 3. Her body being VERY confused on what is happening with the increase of hormones. So tell her to carry protection with her - as it could just appear out of no where. And promise ME, YOU and HER and any other girl you have sex with in the future that neither of you will EVER EVER have unprotected sex again? You are playing with fire doing this and WILL eventually get someone pregnant. When you use a condom, pull out before ejaculation, ejaculate into the condom away from her body - this will make the condom about as close to 100% coverage that you can get. ALWAYS remember this worry - the both of you OK? It will serve you well - the next time your hormones are raging and you throw caution to the wind! Just think of hat happens when you throw water into the wind?!!!!! ;-) There's your parent tell off for the day - now tell her to relax and make a pinky promise that you will NEVER do this again! OK? Thanks for that response bambi. Just would like to add that on that day we had sex twice first one being protected sex. So the second time whn we had the unprotected sex i ejaculated very little.

Just know that ANY unprotected sexual intercourse can cause pregnancy, it doesn't matter if you don't ejaculate, ejaculate a little or a lot. ALL it takes is 1 sperm - there are MILLIONS of sperm in each ejaculation. You can't see them, IF you keep on having unprotected sex you WILL eventually get someone pregnant - that's a promise! So protect yourself and others! OK?!

Hi Bambi,
I'm back. I was wondering, this whole thing was so unusual. Do you think I could have had a chemical miscarriage? Is there a way for the doctor to be able to tell if I was pregnant? I have a lot of stuff going on with my body now. I think I have a UTI now. So confused and think a trip to the Doctor may be in order, but I wanted to do my homework first.
