I'm an 19year old girl and as most girl at my age I've started to 'explore' my body. Yes, I masturbate. So this 7days ago I decided to do some exploring. I uses 2 small markers. I was almost halfway done when I heard my mom come home. I didn't have time to take it out so I left them in there and went downstairs cox my mom was calling. It huet when as I walked but I didn't really have a choice. After about 15 minutes I went to the bathroom and took 'em out. I noticed some brownish fluid/discharge on them. After that day reddish and bad smelling discharge has been coming from my virgina. And there a very slight pain in my lower abdomen. Just so u know, it really hurt the first day. But the next day rhe pain had gone down. I inserted a small cotton bud into my virgina to check the real Colour of the discharge and I was shocked to find faint blood like colour. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow but I'm really scared. What if there's damage to my cervix or virgina? Will she report it to my parents? Please someone help me!!

It is possible you damaged your vagina or cervix, but the markers were not in very long. The blood supply to your genitals is very good, so it should heal quickly. However you may have introduced an infection if the markers were not clean. The red blood might be because you ruptured your hymen. Also the brown discharge could be old blood left over from a previous period. But you have said nothing about your menstrual cycle/history. It is good that you are having a check-up, but you haven't said where you are from. Many doctors (certainly those in the UK) should not divulge information about a 19-year-old to parents. you haven't mentioned wherther there any religious or cultural implications.

I hope this helps.

I'm from India. I'm not a virgin, haven't been one for almost 4 years now. I've had no complications with my period cycles. The only virginal infection I've ever had is a yeast infection 2 years ago. Its been over an year since I've had any sexual partners. I live with my parents. I feel uncomfortable sharing my religion. But I can tell you, my parents are very very very religious. I'm actually going to a doctor without my parents knowledge. If they find out, they would kill me without even blinking.

OK. I understand your reservations. When you had your yeast infection, did you go to a doctor? Did the doctor ascertain that you were not a virgin? If so, and that was kept from your parents, you will probably be OK. Is the doctor the same religion as you and/or your parents? Could you see a doctor who would be more sympathetic? With regard to your period cycles, I was more looking for the dates of your last period, and when the next one was due in order to better understand what your body was doing. If you feel more comfortable talking in private, you can message me.
