I started what appears to be an extremely light periord with light cramping to none

Yesterday night I started what appears to be an extremely light periord with light cramping to none. Ever since I was little I've always had heavy periods , with unbearable cramps, mood swings, and cravings. I have no other symptoms. I have to stress, no exercise change, my diet change a little but I've maintained my weight, no medications nothing. Normally I have to use ultra and change every couple hrs now I could gey away with just one or two regular. It doesn't even seem like a flow its here and there. Its more then the spotting I've read about. It did start out brown and is now bright red and pink. Any ideas ? Also this is about a week early from when I'm due for oeriod and I'm never early
