I was pregnant but had a miscarriage 3 months later. After my miscarriage was my last period which lasted 2 weeks. I was put on the depo shot for 3 months. I didnt like it at all. For about 2 months,i kept spotting blood. So when it was time for my next contreseptive appointment i asked to be switched to the ortho evra patch. So i did. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex the next day and he ejaculated in me. The patch says to put it on when your next period day is. Anyways, i feel pregnant again. My breasts get sore, i really cant tell if there is any change in color in them, i've been waking up in the middle of the night mostly every night, my bottom belly is kinda bulgey, and im having massive cravings. These are symptons of pregnancy. But like birthcontrol symptons, they are some what similar. Theres weight gain, sore in breasts, irregular periods and weight gain. I've had a pregnancy scare before but not quite like this. The patch says it is more effective than the pill and i most likely i wont get pregnant if i use the patch correctly. I dont know if i did use it correctly. Because of my irregular period. OH, My "change patch day" is Friday but it fell off the previous Thursday. Me and my boyfriend did have sex also that day and he did ejaculate in me. Since it fell off later on that night, is there a chance i might be pregnant?

What birth control does is tell your body you are pregnant so that you do not release an egg. Thats not always the case espesially the first year. But do to the birth control alot of women have symptoms of a pregnancy. Its like a fake pregnancy some birth controls effect women worse and some not so much. its depends on you and the birth control. If you do not like the symptoms you could talk to your doctor and he/she may perscribe a differnt one.

Ok so lets put it this way. Hormones can cause all sorts of crazy symptoms that can be related to pregnancy, because they are designed to make your body think it is pregnant. For example, im on Nexplanon implant, and it means i dont release eggs and so very very rarely have periods. I took a pregnancy test about 2 months after i got it, and it was negative, when i spoke to the doctor they told me that this is what i had been experiencing and it would be extremely unlikely that i would ever get pregnant on the implant. You don't have to use protection but i suggest you do, even if its only to give you peace of mind. Been there trust me haha, its not the best thing worrying from month to month what could have happened so its just better to prevent mistakes. Its very unlikely that you will be pregnant, if you have been using the birth control correctly you shouldn't have anything to worry about. The best advice i can give if your unsure is speak to a doctor, they know exactly what they're doing and are confidential, its better to do this as some pregnancy tests are unreliable and can cause confusion. I do have the same problem but taking pregnancy test will not do you any good. It could be negative and your pregnant, to be sure make ana early test just befor your period or wait after. I asked for a pregnancy test in the lab. But they said it will not come out certain. Since I was few days befor my period. I'm so anxious hehe I think I want to get pregnant but yet scared cuz I'm not sure wether to stop the pill or no..I'll tell you few days later what happens

Okay, so I got birth control implant over a year ago, and since then I've been having lighter periods, but they remained regular. I'm on two different antidepressants (Mirtazipine and bupropamine), which normally decrease my appetite. My boyfriend and I regularly have unprotected sex because we both have been checked for STDs and I was told that the implant had a less than 1% chance of pregnancy. Recently however, my period didn't come, I had a little bit of spottiness. I didn't think it was really connected, but I've also been experiencing morning nausea, light headedness, extreme food cravings, mood swings, and sore breasts. My boyfriend joked with me today that I seem pregnant, but we both know the likelihood at being the case is slim to none. Yet, I've been thinking more and more and getting more worried about it. We're both 17 and graduating this year, with our lives ahead of us, I don't know what'd I'd do if I found out I'm pregnant. I read that some antidepressants can dappen the effectiveness of the birthcontrol, and I need to know if I should take a pregnancy test or not... please help

Same thing with me hunny, I've only been on the depo for one shot tho, I feel pregnant like crazy, got sore nipples and I don't have sore nipples like ever. Only I'm time I had sorebnipplez and it was when I was pregnant and I am one day late
