but they do have prosthetic testees you can have implanted

I know this this post is older but maybe someone will use this as they make their decisions. I lost a testicle when I was 4 and grew up having only 1. When 45 I made the decision to get an implant. Even though i had a great sex life and no one seemed to care, (my partner of 11 years never minded but supported me in my decision) it was always on my mind. My prosthesis was inserted directly into the scrotum. My HMO covered it..amazing! I had the procedure done on a Friday and was out of work the entire next week. Amazing how one little incision can lay you up! I do NOT regret having it done but I advise you to now be prepared to now explain why one of your nuts is hard. Research a non-FDA approved silicone filled that is softer. Also, if you lost yours young, the USA large will off scale of your natural one. If you want any more feedback dont hesitate to ask.

So, I know this was posted back in 01/10 but I still felt the need to reply (for anyone else that may stumble upon this and have the same issue).
In 01/13, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer...
Pretty shocking news for someone who's never had anything more than the common cold...
A few weeks after being diagnosed, I had my left testicle removed and started the recover and radiation process(es) shortly thereafter
My outlook on losing a boy has been pretty simple and easy going
I know it's probably tough but unless it's causing you any real medical issues...I'd roll with the punches
Nothing pisses people off more than not getting worked up by their teasing and taunting
Plus, if you use it to your advantage...you could probably get some "sympathy" out of it in the long run (not that I advise this but lets be honest...)
Best of luck

Wait until you get out of high school, if you can and try to ignore the immature remarks, once you head off into adult life them reconsider the needs to have anything done against the potential complications of an operation that could endanger your viable testicle. The taunts you get now will only resume with a twist after. You are a functional male be proud and stand tall.

i have one and I am forty years now. men I lost my confidence and many opportunities in all my life just because of having one ball. So the point is, you need to act very quickly before you fail the army test and so on lol.

I am also one-balled from birth; when I hear that from someone, I just ask them if they think thats the first time I ever heard those things....once they realize how stupid they actually look it usually stops. My advice is to simply choose to quit being manipulated like this. I was born like this and if someone has an issue with it, my sympathy is with them. I'm good with it and its never going to bother me...It's all how you choose to handle it, Tyler

I was born with an undescended left testicle. Never kept me from sowing wild oats, but then when I was about 40 years old and after my three children were born, my doc suggested having the undescended one removed as a precautionary measure against cancer. When I consulted the urologist, he asked if I wanted a "prosthesis". Wish I had been asked that before I went to an all boys boarding school. At the time of the operation, it seemed superfluous, but I figured, if they are in there anyway, why not. I never had any complaints during my active years, but I thought, wow, two balls. What a rush. So I did it, and my wife actually noticed when we were able to resume sex after the operation! Didn't make the sex any better, but it sure looks better in front of the mirror and in the locker room.

As a born one baller, I was mortified at a boys boarding school and then college. When I was forty, my doc recommended removal of the undescended one and a prosthesis. Now my real ball has a fake friend. Should have done it in 1958.
