I just got a testicle implant about 3 days ago. Im very sore and everything, but im kinda upset with the feel of the implant. I thought it would feel just like a normale testicle? Does it get softer over time?

Hello, I have recently had a testicle implant as well. It feels very good. My wife enjoys it as much as I do. It is a little bigger then the other one but it doesn't seem to bother her. It does get much softer over time (depends on how much physical attention they receive. I hope this will aid in your testicle implant concerns.

What is the type and brand of your tecticle implant? Mine is solid elastomer and feels very hard.

I had a testicular implant recommended by my urologoist who advised me it would feel like the real thing.
The Mentor testicular implant DID NOT feel like the real thing - but hard and plastic. Not only that but the surgery went wrong - and the testicular implant did not float freely and was left dangling by a short string which could be felt on examination. The only way to correct this problem is through further surgery by slicing into the scrotum. Not many people know this and no Urologist ever warns of the dangers of a testicular implant being fitted by an incompetent surgeon.
My Urologist even had the cheek to lie about it on my Medical Records. And this was one of London's top Urologist's in the UK. So much for reputations.

I had a fake put in and it was terrible. Hard, cold, very cold and far from real. I had it removed and had to pay cash.

I'm spanish, and my english is not very good. I have a testicular implant since 9 days, and I've got an espheric shape inflamed near the left superior corner of my implant. Is that normal?? could be my body being rejecting the implant? how many days are necessary to know if the implant must be removed? Thanks

I had soft solid implant from mentor / coloplast 2 years ago. I had same hard experience in the beginning - some pain, and it was so hard in touch, after more than a year it started to get softer, a great deel of patience is needed I think. Anybody with long term experience with soft-solid silicone elastomer implant?

I've been wanting to get an implant for several year and I'm finally at the point where I feel strong enough to seek help. I've always felt like there was something missing (so to speak), and have found it very difficult to talk about. But as the years have gone by my inferiority complex has worsened and i'm really hoping this will help. Can anyone tell me how much of a difference it's made to the people who've had successful surgery? And can anyone recommend any good surgeons? Finding very difficult to find much about it. Thanks in anticipation!! :-D

hi i had a prosthesis exactly a week ago.....as of right now it is sitting very high compared to my real one. could someone please tell me if this is normal and if over time the fake one goes moves down? i was very worried that it will not go down and will stay up high????

I just had the mentor saline type replaced with mentor/coloplast cohesive gel available in Canada. by a plastic surgeon in Montreal. It was easy and a fraction of the cost of surgery in the US. These implants aren't available in the US. they are much better than the saline filled and softer than silimed's elastomer implants.
