Hi I recently discovered that my clitoris/labia minor is very inflamed and swollen. It is so swollen that it is protruding quite a bit between my outer labia. It is extremely tender to touch and a dark pink/red color. It has been like this since I had sex 12 hours ago. I don't mean to sound vulgar but it was pretty rough and from other posts I have read I should have used lube. Is this normal? If so, how long should I expect it to last? Is there anything I can do to get the swelling to go down?

What you need to do is run a warm not hot bath, sit in it for a couple of minutes and then gently rub it toward your anus. This sounds weird but that's what takes it away. For future references, use a lube or lotion and make sure your aroused before you have sex. That will make it more gental on yourself.
