What can i do to prevent anal sex from hurting?

Im not sure if you are a guy or girl but I'll assume your a woman. First, don't feel any pressure to have anal sex. it's your body and if you decide you don't like it that's your choice.

That said, if you do want to, and it can be intensely pleasurable, bear the following in mind.

LUBE, LUBE and did i mention LUBE? You cant get enough it as the anus doesn't produce any. Preferably a lube made for anal sex.

Start slowly with anal play. Make sure you are very aroused first as this will help you relax. Have your partner lube up both you and his finger and gently tease you and caress your anus. He can then very slowly and gently begin to insert on finger. That shouldn't be painful but might feel weird. Over time he can gradually insert 2 fingers and hen maybe 3. At this point he should be able to proceed to inserting his well lubricated penis. Go very slowly and gently and with lots of lube. The anus actually has 2 sphincters not one. The first you can relax at will. The second you have much less control over. This is this is where it will hurt if penetration is to fast, rushed or rough. Take it slowly and gently. Make sure you are the one controlling the pace. You may find that once he is inside you he needs to move gently at first, but then you get to a point where everything relaxes and he can go deeper and harder without causing any pain.  You need to communicate with him about how things are going. dont be afraid to tall him to slow down or be gentle if you need him to. You may also find you need more lube over time as it gets absorbed.

And finally, position can make a difference. Experiment, but doggie style is aid to be more painful than some other positions. Try it with him spooning you (personal favourite) or you on top, or missionary style. The anal muscles are said to be more able to relax in those positions.
