My boyfriend and I had sex with a condom on, which we have used that same brand before, the sex was a little painful during sex but that was because I lost mynatural lube and we just added some more then it was fine... the next day the opening to my vagina was still inflammed or swollen, its been three days since the sex and it is still like that.
There is no pain, I am not itchy and there are no abnormalities in or around the area, so i am not sure what to do. I am on my period, but I dont think that has anything to do with it.
So what do I do? what happened?

Hi:
I agree. It doesn't sound like anything related to your period. Could this be a reaction to the lubricant that you used? Is there a possibility of some infection that could have been contracted from your partner? Did you have any signs of an infection before that evening? Were there any other sexual activities that took place that could have irritated your vaginal opening? If you don't see any signs that things are improving, You should get to a doctor immediately. Three days is probably long enough. It's got to be very uncomfortable for you. I'd be interested in knowing what's going on. This info will be helpful to other community members. We'll look forward to hearing what the doctor says. Good Luck!
