My girlfriend and I have started having sex, we have done it around 7 times. During sex my girlfriend keeps experiencing pain and she feels nothing pleasurable. the pain isnt in the pelvic area, but feels that it is closer to the opening of the vagina. should we be worried?

My girlfriend and I had sex twice and both times all she felt was pain around the opening and no pleasure at all. She is on the "Yaz" birth control pill. Could that be the problem, or what?

Could be urinary tract infections!! Does it burn when you pee? It does really hurt when you have sex.

I was on the Yaz birth control pill and I had the SAME SYMPTOMS. As soon as I got off of Yaz, I started feeling pleasure from sex and we could do more positions and it wasnt as painful. We went through 2 months of that and it was very hard on us, but every since I quit using Yaz, I am fine. Hope this helps.

Lubrication works wonders as does relaxation.... if a girl is tense, her entire body inside and out is as well. The skin in the vaginal area is sensitive.. make sure you talk about things, experiment with different positions and techniques like slow, fast, deep, shallow etc.
Also keep in mind the sad fact remains.. most women can not have true vaginal orgasms.... they need direct or at least close by clitoral stimulation. This will also help her relax and lubricate herself naturally. If she is not "wet" enough, it will be painful and not pleasurable at all.
Also, many OTC drugs not only birthcontrol causes these same issues. Anit-histamines will tend to dry us girls up down there.
Use a water based personal lubricant and do not be skimpy with it. If you are rather large for her, you will need to take it slow and easy while moveing too and fro to get her accumstomed to your size. It takes time and practice, trust, compassion and more time to get it all right.
IF the pain she feels is high up within her vagina, then you m ay be hitting her cervix which can be very painful and will even feel like cramping someimte after the actual sex act is done... if that is what she feels too.. do not go so deep.. allow her to heal and then go in deep slow and steady a few sessions until her body can handle it.
GOOD LUCK!

Hi,
You're girlfriend has either vulvar vestibules or vulvydinia or related condition.
Tell her to ask her gyno.
The fact she can have penetration is a good sign. She just needs to talk to the doctor about how to solve/manage the pain.
I suffer from vulvar vestib myself.
