I am not breastfeeding (I only breastfed for 3 weeks) Have had some clear discharge but no period. Also had some pains lower left side and have been feeling light headed a bit when I go from squatting to standing. My ob did bloodwork to check for thyriod and everything normal. He wants to start me on Provera if I dont get it by August....any others in the same boat. Isnt 15-16 weeks a bit too long with no period?

Hi Hon: Have you had unprotected sex since your babies birth? Did your doctor take a pregnancy test too?

If being pregnant is not a possibility, then Provera should get you back on schedule. A lot of women have wonky periods after they have a baby! And sometimes it take the pill to get you back on track.

It IS a long time however, I think if being pregnant is NOT an option, you need to go back too him and ask for the Provera now.

Good luck hon!
