Hi there. I have a problem. My son is having fever for a third day now, and it will not pass with Motrin. We have always used Motrin for fever because it works better, but now like there is no reaction. Is it safe to take Motrin and aspirin together in order to enhance the effect of Motrin?

Careful! Motrin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and in children aged 6 months and older, it can be given to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain. Do not give aspirin or any other anti-inflammatory medications while you are giving him Motrin unless your pediatrician tells you to do so.
