Hi, i have been on lo loestrin birth control for four days now and i had sex with a condom, i always do. Am i safe?

Sometimes im paranoid but i just want to know if my birth control is even effective right now.

I know people say its effective if you start it the day of your period or something but i started it really close to my period, not the day of but within days of it.

Am i safe?
