I'm 17 years old and I had sex for the first time 2 nights ago. We used a condom and I made sure he didn't ejaculate while in me. I asked the guy if the condom broke and he said no. I'm not on birth control and I haven't taken the morning after pill. They next day I started bleeding most likely due to tearing my hymen (It was think and bright pinkish/red). My period isn't due for 2 days but it came last night I could tell because it was dark and came out in clots (sorry for the TMI). My menstrual cycle is usually 33 days and my period lasts around 5- 6 days. I haven't been eating properly this month but I'm trying to change that. Right now my period flow isn't heavy as usual and it's really really really light. Is there a possibility that I could be pregnant? Should I take the morning after pill since it hasn't been 72 hours yet? I'm really terrified even though we used protection and my period was due soon. I've learnt my lesson.

Hi Dem,
It is very unlikely that you would get pregnant having sex so close to when your period was due. The egg is not viable. That you period seems normal is a good sign.
You don't need the morning after pill. It does have side effects and should only be used in an emergency.
You did use protection and he didn't ejaculate in you. This substantially reduces the risk of pregnancy.
I don't think you're pregnant or that you need to worry.
Hope it helps.
