Irun track and cross country for my high school and the track season is almost over... I was wondering if my cross country times would increase or decrease if i did training for a half ironman instead of traditional xc training

Marc, I'm not too sure if your if your times would increase or decrease. You would certainly have a better all round fitness but unless you are competing in the 1/2 iron marathon whats the point.
I'm all for some cross training but if it's XC you want, run stick with running.
More specifically XC training !!
