I've been bleeding everyday for over 2 months!!

I have this same problem with bleeding, it is really frustrating and even depressing. And what makes it worst is that i think the more depressed i become the heavier it gets. I hate having to wear a pad almost every day of my life. When this started, I went to see the doctor. First they did a STD screening, because they said that that may be one of the causes. After my results came back negative for each test, i had to take a pelvic exam. I did this along with 2 other std test and the exam came back with good results and the std tests came back negative once again. After all of that I was told the only thing they could recommend is birth control pills. Here is my problem, I have a family history of poor blood circulation, and pulmonary embolism, both to which I have lost family members to. since birth control does have the tendency to produce blood clots i really do not want to take that risk considering my already high risk. Another issue it that i was diagnosed as an anemic at the age of 17 because i would miss my period for months. Since i was not sexually active i knew this had to be a blood issue. so i took iron tablets and my cycle was back to normal, for a few years. im now 25 but now my problem is that i bleed every day sometimes i feel weak so i take the iron tablets just in case i am losing too much blood, but this only makes it worse..someone please help..what should i do??

im 15. i just had a babygirl 3 months ago.. ever since i had her i have been bleeding.. it wont go away. sometime it will be light then heavy again. cervical cancer runs in my family. i have took many test but they all come back normal. so i have no idea what is going on so can someone help me.. i cant get my dr to find out what is wrong i was on the depo shot but i am switching sunday to the 3 month pills..   ????? can yall tell me what might be wrong??   march 7,2013

Hello! I am a 13 years-old girl and I had have my period for almost a year now. THEY WONT STOP!! At first I would have them for 6-7 days then they would start again like 2 weeks after. Then I would have them for 2-3 months straight! Now it's been like 4 months and they havent stopped! Sometimes they stop one day but the next day they start again. It's usally not a heavy flow but now it is I've stained almost all my pj's :( , I really need help .. I want to go to the doctors but I'm to scared & nervous to go because I have a lot of hair on my pubic area so I'm shy about it .. and I hate going to the doctors. Can you please tell me whats wrong with me?! Please !!?

I've had the same issue. I've been on birth control for about two months, and i have a history of irregular periods. Ever since i started the birth control poll, I've been on my period. Is something wrong? I don't know.

I DO THIS AS WELL BLEED FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS WIT BLOOD CLOTS AND ALL I WENT TO THE DOCTOR RECENTLY AND BEING OVER WEIGHT WAS ONE REASON BUT MY HARMONES WAS OFF BALANCED AND IRON WAS SUPER LOW........

i have been bleeding also but never check it out and wonder why, there was a time when i never saw my period and now all of suddenly i am seing it non stop, i drain me and i need more iron in my ........................hmmm say way i have to make appointment to see a doctor out island....

I am 16 years old, please do not judge me, but i havnt had sexual relations since january, but my periods were normal until about april first. i have had light bleeding for almost a month now, and i run track. Does anyone know what it could be?

Did you get the reason of it? I have same situation now. and everything is normal in ultrasound , Thyroid. I have light bleeding from around 3 weeks. Please help me.I am very tensed.

Hi everyone Well i ben going through this for five yrs heaving bleeding for months. It has a mind of its own. Welk my lining was very thick nd they said that was the problemso on tuTuesday I had a d&c and what do you kno It didnt help. Now he talkin bout taking my cervix out. You do lose a lot of blood so your iron will b very low. Get it checked out I.do iron infusion. This does take a toll on your life and its not normal. Best result is a hysterectomy. Sorry that you all are going through this i know how you are feeling . I hate it . I also.want my life back

I have read all of these posts and more.. I am having the same problem as all of you on here. Except, I haven't been on birth control ever and haven't been to see a doctor. I'm 22 and overweight. I want to have a baby, damnit. My fiancé and I keep arguing over which of us it might be, he insists its him, but I know it's me. I had my first period at 13 and had my first sexual encounter at 15, something I regret so much. I bleed very lightly almost everyday of the month. It has gotten worse in the past year. I maybe have a real period once a year, you know, the heavy kind that you have to use tampons/pads. I'm so afraid to go to the doctor because I'm already depressed that I've been trying to have a baby and can't, I don't want them to tell me I'm sterile. I don't know if I could mentally handle it. I guess I'm here for encouragement to go to the doctor. I don't know...

I am only 17 going on 18. I started my period at 11. Always been irregular. I can use 9 pads in ONE hour. This makes me depressed. The doctors done put me on so many things already to see if it will work instead of just finding out what is going on with me. The point isnt to put me on depo or birth control or anything else....the point is for them to stop saying they dont know what is going so they goijg to treat it as what they think it is and they need to figure out wtf is going on with me :'(

I've been reading all ur mail.me also have been bleeding now off&on a couple mnths but the past week very bad&with clumps.I am 47 yr sold&have surgery years ago so I cannot get pregnant.my belly burns&I'm scared.If its gets any worse I will go in&let u kno what I have learned.I wish u all the best.if u find answers..please post.
