I do not know if you have been able to correct your problem. I have the same problem happening in the same way as you. The excessive bleeding may be due to hormones, This problem is disguising itself in your period, but if you are clotting as I was this is from bleeding not menstruating. As I let it go to long my situation became as yours, I went to a Chinese doctor, they usually reside in specialty stores, they tend to grow there own roots and herbs. My treatment was done through boiling the root and herb mixture they prescribe and drink it like tea. It is gross as the mixture had well over 20 different roots and plants. It works fast, this method is used when the health of the person it now at risk of death. They use other ways of delivery of the medicine, such as capsules that they crush your mixture into but the dosage is less effective. My clots were the size of my palm and my body was extracting this every hour. My blood was so thin I could not walk 10 steps without having to sit down, I could not catch my breath my legs were to weak to manage more with out rest, my heart was beating so hard even at a rested state before I begin treatment. In 12 hours the bleeding almost stopped the clots reduced to the size of a quarter within 1 day and reduced to 1 a day with 3 days. By 5 days its stopped. I have had a problem with my hormones since I was 18 but not to this level. They change the mixture to your health, the next week the mixture was focused on restoring my hormones and repairing the damage caused to my other organs. I am now feeling better than I did when I was 18 years old. I wish I had done this long ago, but I was able to get by and I have a problem with doctors so it finally came to a head for me. A note on the Chinese doctors, they usually are chosen, it is passed down to them and it is a family tradition to continue to help people in this way, many now are licensed doctors. However the Chinese doctors that I sought treatment from have been educated in western ways (so they can understand our terminolgy) but pratice in the old chinese ways they do not require to probe and use western equipment to diagnose your problem
Good Luck
. :-P
at the age of 14/15 I had a similar problem I would have my period non stop for months my mom took me to the doctors and they put me on birth control because my hormone balance is nowhere close to being normal...I am now 18 but my mom fears that since I've been taking bc for 3 years I won't be able to have children when im ready.my periods are only 3 days.but it kinda stinks tho because I have terrible mood swings,I have trouble losing weight and have no energy!! :( any suggestions?
i had the same problem. after i gave birth to my first baby girl my period went on for 4 months it was an every day bleeding. people would tell me that it might be some hormone changes. Until i decided to go to the doctor and he did a pap on me and the results were that i had an infection that it had to be cured as soon as possible. so he gave me 3 antibiotics vaccines that i had to put on one every day and he also gave me some cream to put it inside with a little tube (it is not painful at all) it is like a tampon and he also gave me some pills. after two weeks i was doing great and my period stopped. now i am doing great and my menstrual cycles are doing great. so you might go with your doctor and tell him all the symptoms you have!!! :-D
I have had this problem 4 different times in my life. Once for 8 months, once for 6, once for 7 and most recently for 2. These have all taken place in the last 7 years. I am 33 now.
I Want everyone to know that I have found a solution! I went Gluten Free! I have never shown any signs of gluten intolerance or sensitivity but I met a gal who had periods for months on end and she said she was able to stop it by going off gluten. I didn't believe it would work for me so I continued suffering on for several more months. Eventually, I gave it a try and about 6 weeks later, period stopped!! I stayed gluten free for 4 months and had no more problems. Went back to gluten and 3 weeks later, my period came....and Wouldn't stop again. I decided to go off gluten and then again, 4 weeks later, my period stopped. They say it takes around 30 days for gluten to get out of your system so if this is something you want to try, commit to doing it for at least 8 weeks to see if it works For you
