Hi, I am 20 years old, and for the first time I’m 11 days late. I’ve missed my period and I’m afraid to think what could it mean. I also feel nauseous which only confirms my fears. Does it have to mean that I’m pregnant, or could there be another reason for these symptoms?

There is certainly a chance that you’re pregnant. Eleven days is too much, and there must be a reason for it. Morning sickness and nausea usually appears 6 weeks after you get pregnant, so it means that you had unprotected sex right after your last period ended. Why don’t you take a pregnancy test? It would solve your dilemma in couple of minutes. Of course, there could be another reason that you’ve missed your period and that you feel nauseous. Maybe you’ve missed your period due to imbalanced hormones. It could also happen that cyst on you ovaries delayed your period. Don’t wait any more, go to your gynecologist today!
